He has just released another title called ‘Expensive’. It would be his second since venturing into the music scene in 2010. Born March 26, 1993, Olayinka Oluwaseyi Fashiola, a native of Isale Gangan from Lagos Island and the last child of three, sure has big dreams for his musical career.
This graduate from the Olabisi Onabanjo University with a degree in Public Admin, and also a certified Studio Management persona which he earned from the National Broadcast Academy, adding to practical experiences he garnered at Eko Reel Mix at Eko FM, is an Afro Pop / R&B artiste, with a tint of Highlife added to his creative prowess.
His first single was title Some Sense, was released in 2017. Though PhashyO says that didn’t go far. However, his dreams of becoming like his favourite artistes –as he mentions Tuface, Dbanj, Wizkid –kept his hope alive. PhashyO also loves old generation artistes like: King Sunny Ade, Sir Shina Peters and Ebenezer Obey.
Part of his passion in music is to inspire success in others. Olayinka who admits to have grown under tough terrain believes that succeeding in ones career is the ultimate goal. As he puts it: it’s either I get all or nothing.
His new single titled ‘Expensive’ promised to be not just excited but inspirational. The idea, PhashyO say would encourage people to listen to good music and be committed to hardworking.
With a look and a voice that sure sounds Afro Pop, PhashyO hopes to be ranked amongst the best three in the country in the not too distant future. ‘Expensive’ would be hitting the airwave soon.
